Unfortunately, most all of us are connected to someone who’s been injured or has even died as a result of a road traffic accident. Cars, trucks and buses are such a common presence in our everyday lives that we forget the number of people seriously affected when collisions or accidents occur. The World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims is recognized on the third Sunday of November and stands as a testament to the nearly 3500 people killed each day in road accidents. Youth are disproportionately affected, as road accidents are the leading cause of death for young people globally. Help bring your voice to the discussion of what can be done to promote responsible driving, and reduce the number of casualties on the road.
